In The Spotlight: Helen Campbell – Head of Loyalty and Customer Experience

Who are you and what is your role at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays?
I’m Helen Campbell and I work in the Marketing department as Head of Loyalty and Customer Experience. I’m responsible for all the direct customer marketing communications, but I’m also lucky enough to work with lots of different business areas to maximise our customer journeys.


What do you love most about working for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays?
I’ve worked in customer marketing for many years and what I love about Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is how passionate we are about our customers. As a business, we really put them at the heart of what we do. And you can really see that in what we’ve done during the pandemic and how we’ve worked as One Team with our cancellations and all important refunds!


After a busy day how do you switch off?
I like to go out for a run, but I’m definitely a fair-weather runner, so I haven’t been out much lately. I also play the piano which I find really relax-ing – and I’m a sucker for a good boxset. I’m currently working my way through Bridgerton and The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix.

Any top tips on how to survive the latest lockdown?
Try and get some fresh air every day. If I can, I like to go for a really quick walk at lunchtime to break up the day and make sure I get some sunlight. If I can’t, I’ll go when I’ve finished work for the day – even if it’s dark, it makes sure I get some exercise and helps me clear my mind.


Did you set yourself any New Year’s resolutions?
Yes – to not eat red meat in January – but I failed on the first weekend when we accidentally got a pizza that had beef on it!!


Settle the debate: beach holiday or city break?
I’m greedy when I’m on holiday, so I like to have it all – a bit of relaxation and some exploration. So my favourite holidays combine both – places like Dubrovnik, Palma or Barcelona.
