Jet2.com Pilot Roadshows
We would love to meet experienced Pilots (and their families) who may be interested in joining our ever-expanding Pilot community.
Our Roadshow days are informal - members of our Flight Operations Management and Training Teams, line Pilots as well as the Pilot Talent Acquisition Team will be on hand to discuss anything and everything with you! You can join us at any time during the day we will answer as many questions as you have.

Our Entry Requirements
Direct Entry Captains
- Minimum 3,000 hours Total flying time (factorised)
- In excess of 1,000 hours Command flying time (Factorised) on a B737/B757 or A321 Aircraft, or a similar size and configuration Commercial Jet Aircraft
- Valid UK Part-FCL issued Pilots Licence
- Valid UK issued Class 1 Medical - minimum of 6 months validity when joining
- The unrestricted right to work in the UK
- English Language proficiency – minimum level 5
First Officers
- Minimum 500 hours Total flying time including:
- Experience on a medium to heavy Commercial Multi Crew, Multi Engine Jet or Turboprop aircraft, or Military flying experience
- If Type Rated on the B737/B757 or A321 – in excess of 500 hours flying time on type
- Valid UK Part-FCL issued Pilots Licence
- Valid UK issued Class 1 Medical - minimum of 6 months validity when joining
- The unrestricted right to work in the UK
- English Language proficiency – minimum level 5
Future Second Officer
- Valid UK Part-FCL issued Pilots Licence
- Valid UK issued Class 1 Medical - minimum of 6 months validity when joining
- Completed an APS MCC course, or a Jet Orientation Course (JOC) & Multi-Crew Co-operation course (MCC)
- Strong ATPL results and Training record
- Successful completion of a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME-IR)
- The unrestricted right to work in the UK
- English Language proficiency – minimum level 5
- Have maintained flying 'currency' through training and/or regular flying

Be one of our Future Second Officers
Your hard work and dedication has paid off and you've achieved your Frozen ATPL. Our Future Second Officer Programme is about supporting you in taking the next step in your flying career. Once complete you will join a fully funded type-rating course as a Second Officer on one of our Airbus or Boeing jets.
In preparation for that moment, we will immerse you in learning new skills and building relationships. You will meet colleagues from across the organisation to help you discover how our operational, head-office, in-flight and airport colleagues Work as One Team. We will support your personal growth with the experience and knowledge from our Crew Development, Pilot and mentor teams.
To apply for our programme, you'll need to have a UK issued Frozen ATPL Pilots Licence, a Multi Engine Instrument Rating, a current UK issued Class 1 Medical Certificate and have completed an APS MCC Course, or a Multi Crew Co-operation (MCC) & Jet Orientation (JOC) course.
