Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, our Performance Marketing Lead - Paid Search will join a team which plans, manages, and optimises budgets that drive over 50% of all bookings on the web and app platforms across our business. Our Performance Marketing Team work in close partnership with Google, Microsoft, Apple, and many other key digital partners, and enjoy the numerous benefits of these close relationships.

What you’ll be doing:

Our Performance Marketing Lead - Paid Search, will manage a team of specialists to achieve the day-to-day objectives of the business, help to plan and implement our long-term PPC strategy and create roadmaps to manage expectations and workloads. You’ll be expected to optimise performance and support the continued growth of the team and channel. Working with the wider marketing team you’ll contribute to departmental campaigns to meet campaign objectives and be able to identify opportunities that can support new areas of growth for the business, liaising with internal teams within Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. You will also be responsible for: -
  • Day-to-day management and optimisation of PPC campaigns at scale, making recommendations to improve account performance and dealing with large scale budget management on a daily basis.
  • Leading critical business projects to achieve the continued growth of the channel.
  • Provide actionable daily insights and analysis of campaign performance.
  • Producing high quality, detailed documentation and presentations for the benefit of senior stakeholders.
  • Managing the daily workloads of a team of PPC specialists to achieve short and long term goals while meeting the ad hoc requirements of the business.
  • Working closely with other teams across the marketing department and wider business (including revenue, finance, product and analytics)

What you’ll have:
  • You'll have strong experience of working in a Digital Marketing environment.
  • You'll be able to effectively communicate and influence at all levels and ideally have experience developing, mentoring and motivating junior members of a team.
  • You'll bring robust numerical and data analysis skills, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
  • You'll have experience using our key platforms, including any of the following: GA4, SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Apple Search Ads.
  • Ideally knowledge of custom attribution models and conversion tagging such as Floodlight.
