We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Engineering Technologies Project Manager (Project Manager – EngTech) to join our Airline Engineering team. This new role is based within our busy Head Office (with hybrid working) at Leeds Bradford International Airport and is part of the overall Engineering Technologies & Predictive Analytics Team.

What will you do in the role?

As an Engineering Technologies Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering projects that drive innovation and efficiency in our engineering and maintenance operations. You will manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

You will:
  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects related to Engineering Technologies, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Manage project communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Lead project meetings and workshops, fostering collaboration and ensuring all team members are aligned and informed.

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management.

You will:
  • Possess proven experience in project management, preferably within the engineering or technology sectors.
  • Have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Possess or be working towards a recognised project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Be an excellent communicator, capable of managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Be familiar with aerospace engineering principles and airline operations (preferred but not required).
