What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for aspiring pilots who are passionate about a career in commercial aviation and prepared to invest in their own success. We value individuals who appreciate the opportunities they have been given, support those around them, and take pride in delivering great experiences for customers. Above all, we’re looking for future pilots who want to play an active role in the continued success of Jet2.

Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment with Jet2, a bonded Airbus or Boeing type rating and industry leading airline preparation, subject to meeting all programme and employment requirements.

How to apply to Jet2NextGen

We encourage anyone interested in applying to initially speak to their ATO to determine a timeline of training, and expected training completion month.

The ATO should complete a referral form and provide the applicant with a copy which can be uploaded as part of application form which can be found at Jet2Careers.

Training Partners Referrals

Partner ATOs are encouraged to approach trainees who meet the programme criteria, reflect Jet2 values of Working As One Team, Be Present, Take Responsibility and Create Memories, and show the potential to succeed in a commercial airline environment.

Before making a referral, ATOs are encouraged to consider whether it is appropriate to do so, particularly where there are concerns about a trainee’s performance.

Please email from a registered ATO account to Future.PilotTeam@jet2.com to obtain a copy of our referral document.

Timeframes to Complete

Applicants will be asked to provide an expected month of UK CAA fATPL licence issue, this completion window will be used to support programme planning and should reflect a realistic training completion timeline.

Applicants should carefully consider their individual training progress and circumstances before providing an anticipated training completion date to Jet2.
