Jet2.com & Jet2holidays have an outstanding opportunity to start your airline career in our Operations Control Team as an Operations Control Apprentice, based at Low Fare Finder House, Leeds Bradford Airport.
This role will involve office-based shift work including nights therefore, only those individuals aged 18+ are eligible to apply.
Working within our Operations Control Centre, our Operations Control Apprentice will be supported through an 18-month, Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) approved, Level 3 Aviation Flight Operations Coordinator apprenticeship scheme to learn all the planning, operational, logistical and regulatory elements required to deliver our award-winning flying operation.

What you’ll be doing:
Our Operations Control Apprentice will contribute to a proactive and safe approach to flying operations with attention to weather, aircraft serviceability, crewing status, air traffic flow management and other potential problems that may have an adverse effect on our flying operation, initiating swift recovery actions whenever necessary.
Through a combination of on-the-job training and workshop learning, you will receive extensive training across airline operations, including:
- Flight Planning & ATC
- Meteorology
- Crew Flight Time Limitations
- Aircraft Maintenance Activities
- Customer Communications
- Ground Operations
- Aviation Systems
- Safety
- Incidents & Emergencies
- Dangerous Goods
- Aviation Security
On successful completion of this apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 3 Aviation Flight Operations Coordinator qualification.
