We’re recruiting for a HR Advisor to support our Head Office and Retail Operations Centre (ROC) areas of the business. You’ll be the first point of contact for all ER matters and to provide generalist HR advice, support and guidance to Managers within our Head Office & the ROC functions, along with providing ongoing support to the HR Business Partner in their role. 

You will be based at our Head Office in Leeds, with occasional travel to the ROC in Middlewich.

What will you do in the role?

Our HR Advisor will act as the first point of contact for General HR queries, providing accurate and timely advice to stakeholder. Key responsibilities include: -
  • Identifying where HR issues/queries need to be escalated and referring them to the appropriate level of HR management to ensure relevant action is taken.
  • Inputting and maintaining ER Case Management information and reporting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recording.
  • Monitoring, analysing & reporting on key HR Data/KPI’s such as turnover of staff, sickness absence etc. to identify key data trends and working with the HR Business Partner to identify and address any underlying issues.
  • Developing and updating internal HR guidance/procedures on key HR processes as and when required to ensure consistency and efficiency of service within the HR team.
  • Assisting the HR Business Partners/Training Manager in training and coaching managers on key policies and procedures, ensuring they have the right skills to effectively manage their team.

What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?

We are looking for a confident self-starter who has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to HR matters. You’ll also: -

Have the ability to challenge and influence where needed.
Preferably you’ll have worked across multiple sites within a fast-paced organisation like Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
Be able to prioritise your own workload and have a high degree of resilience with the ability to work under pressure.

Other key skills/experience we’re looking for:
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law.
  • This role would suit somebody from a generalist HR/ER background.
