Planning Systems and Development Executive, based in Holiday House in Leeds City Centre.

Reporting to the Senior Planning Systems and Development Manager, our Planning Systems and Development Executive will support the Planning team (including Charter & Airline Sales and Airport and Tourism Organisations) with system development, data and reporting strategy.

What will you do in the role?

The primary responsibilities of our Planning Systems and Development Executive will be to: -
  • Support ongoing system developments (including scheduling systems), from initial scoping through to testing
  • Ensure databases and reports which support the effective use of planning systems are kept up-to-date and accurate
  • Continually develop the suite of reports (including Tableau) used to make planning and commercial decisions. Including tactical planning opportunities, Charter & Airline Sales commercial data, competitor slot changes and automating existing manual processes
  • Ensure the planning team is effectively integrated into other departments to provide them with relevant, timely and up-to-date details of the flying programme

What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?
  • Have high attention to detail and a keen problem solver
  • Be able to effectively document and communicate processes
  • Be confident at working with large and complex data sets
  • Have strong IT skills with the ability to become fluent in bespoke software.
  • Experience using Tableau or other data visualisation programmes preferred
  • Ideally have a commercial/revenue management background with enthusiasm towards the aviation and travel sector
