Toolstores Administrator, based at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Our Toolstores Administrator reports to the Senior Toolstores Supervisor and will be providing administration support for Toolstores relating to technical enquiries. You will be carrying out general administration duties within toolstores, Taking Responsibility to ensure that all records are updated and filed.

What will you do in the role?
As a Toolstores Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all training, passes and authorisations for toolstores staff as well as organising training in conjunction with stores management. You will also:
  • Be required to liaise with internal and external departments to assist with updating vendor scorecards
  • Monitor responses to submitted technical assist requests, update these requests as required or close when complete
  • Actively communicate with other departments and external contacts, both verbally and in writing in an effort to resolve issues or supply / receive required information
  • Produce reports and maintain accurate records of relevant Stores statistics
  • Update and maintain accurate records of holidays and overtime within Stores, assisting with the filing of Stores paperwork and records
  • Liaise with our Training Department on Stores Training requirements, updating Stores records and files as required
  • Respond to telephone calls and direct onto the relevant area of responsibility in stores
  • Ensure Stores have adequate consumable supplies
  • Attend training and instructive courses when required and carry out any other task that may be required from time to time.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
Our Toolstores Administrator will ideally have previous administrative experience within an engineering background. You will also have:
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills, accompanied with sound general administration skills
  • The ability to work with both internal stakeholders and external organisations.
