This is an exciting time to join Jet2.com in what is our busiest year ever! As Technical Publications Author you will play an essential part in the production and publishing of manuals within our Flight Operations Team.

What Do We Need You to Do?
  • Edit, produce and publish Jet2.com Flight Operations Manuals, Minimum Equipment Lists and Quick Reference Handbooks for use within the Flight Operations environment and on board Jet2.com aircraft and simulators
  • Use various Boeing and Airbus OEM toolsets as well as Third party software for the production of these manuals.
  • Assist with monitoring changes to EASA/CAA and other regulatory authorities’ requirements.
  • Ensure all Flight Operations Manuals comply with the requirements of the Regulatory Authority (EASA/CAA) and Aircraft manufacturers.
  • Collate and verifying all pertinent information for inclusion in the relevant Flight Operations manuals.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with other departments to ensure all Flight Operations publications are integrated and complimentary with all areas of the business.
  • Once updated to agree and action the appropriate distribution of any updated Manuals to the relevant colleagues.
  • Act as a point of contact for any Flight Operations Manuals related queries, facilitating replies and solutions as necessary and prioritising where needed.

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven track record of working within the Airline industry with a knowledge of EASA and CAA regulations, along with knowledge of commercial aircraft and SOPs. A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. You will posses the ability to turn around tasks at short notice while maintaining accuracy and quality of output. An adaptable, flexible attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment delivering to tight timescales.
You will have strong computer literacy and sound working knowledge of MS Excel Word and Powerpoint.
