Reporting to the Head of operations Systems Solutions, the General Manager – Crew System Solutions is responsible for the reliable provision, proactive management, and constant evolution of the operationally-critical system solutions used for; Crew Establishment Planning, Crew Planning, Crew Training, Crew Tracking, Crew Travel, Crew Engagement, Crew Pay, and much more.
This pivotal role oversees the delivery and optimisation of complex system solutions to support operational teams across the business, ensuring efficiency through automation, seamless configuration, data integration and user workflows.
The General Manager – Crew Systems Solutions will lead a team of System Managers, Supervisors and Specialists, manage third-party vendors, and ensure all service levels are met while continuously adapting systems to evolving business needs. They will also drive strategic enhancements through well-evidenced business cases and expertly delivered implementation projects—ensuring innovation without disrupting operations.

What you’ll be doing:
- System Operations & Reliability: Ensure high system availability, smooth daily operations, usability, and technical reliability, while validating failover strategies and maintaining consistent data quality and integrity.
- Change Management & Implementation: Oversee feature releases and software updates, manage testing environments, enforce change control processes, and support business adoption through seamless, disruption-free implementation.
- Strategic Development & Integration: Drive delivery of new systems aligned with business growth, ensure processes and workflows are backed by relevant data integrations, and foster strong relationships among system stakeholders.
- Governance & Compliance: Lead service reviews, regulate user access controls, uphold compliance standards, and ensure systems are securely configured to support optimal performance and accountability.
What you’ll have:
