Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing Agent: Bournemouth Airport

At Jet2.com we are proud to deliver a VIP Service to our customers. We have a fantastic opportunity as a Customer Helper- Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing at Bournemouth Airport.

What will you do as a Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing Agent?

• Create a great first impression & warm welcome, ensuring that all customers receive a VIP service.
• Play an important role to help our customers with flight bookings & additional product sales

• Work to resolve customer enquiries such as flight changes and escalated queries

• Offer a dedicated service to ensure we return items to their owners as quickly and efficiently as possible using World Tracer ( our Baggage Tracing System)

• Effectively support our customers, arranging alternative flights, accommodation and transfers in times of disruption and delays.

• This is a varied & fulfilling role with operational impact and will play a vital part in ensuring we achieve our Sales and Customer Satisfaction targets.​

This role is available on a 30 hour per week basis and is available to our Ground Operations colleagues. As we are always on hand to help our customers, this position involves working on a rostered shift basis and requires flexibility to support our flight programme. Shifts will cover our 24/7 operation and will include working weekends and bank holidays.

The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours. You will have a genuine passion for delivering great customer service and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in handling customer queries in a fast paced, ground operations environment. Previous experience of successfully meeting sales targets would be beneficial. You will also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Outlook and Excel, with good numeracy and communication skills. Experience if using systems such as World Tracer would be beneficial.
