DevOps Engineer - Fixed Term Contract

As our new DevOps Engineer - Fixed Term Contract, you’ll have a major impact on helping us achieve our goal. We are embarking on a large-scale cloud migration project aimed at transforming our IT infrastructure and enhancing operational efficiency.

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivery of new features supporting improved deployments for all development teams.
• Documentation and handover to release and/or development teams for ongoing support of features.
• Collaboration with development teams to agree changes.
• Contribute to key scrum ceremonies, eg. Daily stand up, backlog refinement, retrospectives.

What you’ll have:

• Automated deployment preferably using Azure DevOps or Octopus.
• Scrum/agile methodology.
• Team mentor/leadership.
• Development background or strong understanding of development processes.
• Technical knowledge:
  • Azure DevOps and yaml
  • Helm
  • Build and Deploy process in Azure DevOps
  • Kubernetes (high level)
  • Cloud platforms (high level)
