Reporting to the Shift Leader, the Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out line maintenance on all Jet2.com aircraft, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and on time. This position plays an important role in ensuring our aircraft are maintained to a very high standard and that delays are kept to a minimum.
You will perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Shift Leader, carrying out aircraft maintenance tasks according to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements and regulations. You will also be expected to be available at short notice for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery. After a period of training, it is expected that the Mechanic will work a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a valid and current EASA 'A' License. You will have an operational background in aircraft maintenance, with experience working on commercial aircraft. You will have full working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Reporting to the Product Owner Manager, the Senior E-commerce Product Owner will ensure all IT development projects are completed effectively, on time, with optimal value and achieve the intended business objectives. As Senior E-commerce Product Owner, you will work within a scaled agile, value stream driven environment, working closely with other Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand the commercial objectives of the business and ensure they are understood by stakeholders so we work towards common goals. You will be accountable for leading one of our strategic value streams and ensuring that the product roadmap meets the strategic objectives of the business.
You will act as an interface between business units, development and support teams whilst establishing strong relationships around the internal organisation. You will collaborate with key senior business stakeholders to understand their aspirations & objectives, define scope and facilitate sizing, backlog maintenance, sprint planning and sprint execution processes. You will ensure that all work being carried out aligns with the commercial objectives of the business.
You will ensure all team members are kept informed of objectives and timescales throughout the project lifecycle, whilst continually providing progress reports to the business with the use of road mapping and reporting tools. You will also have experience of working with data & insight to inform decision making by senior business stakeholders.
You will have experience working within an Agile development environment including the definition of user stories, as well as the breakdown of epic level features & stories. You will also work closely with technical specialists and the development teams to refine the product backlog alongside the Business Analyst. In addition, you will assist with User Acceptance Testing and software releases ensuring software is fully signed off and handed over to business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have experience of working as a Product Owner with exposure to senior stakeholders. You will have excellent communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server & Azure DevOps for backlog maintenance and sprint delivery would be beneficial.

In addition, you will assume responsibility of all documentation for aircraft under your control and be available at short notice to perform Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
