Reporting to the Head of Web and eCommerce, the General Manager – Acquisition is a pivotal commercial role responsible for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Performance Marketing and SEO activity. Our high performing eCommerce team’s mission is Continual Optimisation and Innovation across all E-commerce functions to deliver Sales Volume, ROI & Engagement at Speed. In this exciting and challenging role, you will lead the planning, management and analysis of multi-million-pound budgets, that drive a significant share of direct bookings on our web platforms and work closely with all key search engine partners, as well as key aggregator and affiliate partners. In this pivotal commercial role, you will be a key member of the eCommerce team, as well as the broader Senior Marketing Management team, with significant C-Suite access and exposure. Reporting to the GM – Social Media & Internal Comms, the Senior Internal Communications Executive will be responsible for sourcing, creating, editing and managing content for a range of internal communications. The role will also support all employee engagement initiatives across a diverse and growing business. In this integral position, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to create engaging, timely and accurate communications that align with our company Take Me There values. The Senior Internal Communications Executive will lead the editors of the weekly newsletters, ensuring content is in line with Company standards, whilst meeting the required deadlines and accuracy targets. Liaising with internal teams to create content, managing distribution lists, and collating and reporting on the feedback are vital to the success of this role. In addition, you will support the GM – Social Media & Internal Comms to develop and implement a communication and employee engagement plan, working with key stakeholders to forward plan communication requirements. The successful candidate will have previous copywriting and proof-reading experience within an Internal Communications, HR or Marketing Team. You will be a natural communicator, with the ability to build strong working relationships across multiple business functions, a keen eye for detail and impeccable accuracy. In addition, you must have the aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment delivering to tight timescales, as well as the discretion to deal with sensitive and confidential information. To be successful in this position, you will be a proactive go-getter who can ensure that the business is kept up to date with all the latest news, and information in a positive and engaging way. As this role will involve regular travel, you will need to hold a full UK driving license. The Studio Manager will be a welcoming and client-facing figure in the Creative Services Team who will be responsible for managing all work that comes into the Studio Artwork Teams. Working closely with the Senior Creative Services Manager, you will have a clear understanding of the requirements of the business in order to plan and co-manage work-streams, balancing the creative vision and objectives with running an efficient, lean and effective team.
Working in the Creative Services Team within the wider Marketing Department, you are the ambassador of the ‘one door in’ workflow, managing resource, ensuring that key deliverables are met, further work is prioritised and aligning creative project plans with overall business marketing plans. The Studio Manager will focus on controlling final sign off and manage the Studio Artwork Leads to help run and accelerate smooth, efficient and innovative ways of working through the team. You will lead the effective building and maintaining of quality control processes, ensuring that all work is delivered to a set standard and on time, on budget and on brief with a right first-time mentality. Working with the Senior Creative Services Manager, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships. The Studio Manager will be a guardian of the Jet2 brand, working with Brand teams and Brand Managers to ensure that all artwork produced follows brand guidelines and making changes where necessary. In addition, you will ensure internal clients are aware of the Jet2 brand guidelines and that all work is produced in accordance. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to remain calm and focused when dealing with deadline critical work. You will have demonstrable Studio or Project Management experience, in a fast-paced Agency or in-house Studio environment. In addition, the Studio Manager will be process driven and able to balance the technical emphasis and creative output to successfully deliver to internal clients/stakeholders. With strong communication skills, you will be comfortable negotiating and managing stakeholder expectations at all levels, with the ability to deal with difficult situations and take them to a positive conclusion. Above all you will be a confident, strong relationship builder who remains calm under pressure and has the drive and determination to deliver results in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
