Digital Insight Analyst, based at Holiday House in Leeds City Centre

Reporting to the Lead Insight Analyst, the Digital Insight Analyst will sit within a fast-paced Marketing team supporting key business decisions through reporting, analysis, and insight. The Digital Insight Analyst will be responsible for delivering data and insights to stakeholders to drive business decisions across both the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays brands.

What will you do in the role?

The Digital Insight Analyst will develop a strong understanding of ‘All things Web’, from the technical elements of tracking site activity to understanding customer behaviour, interpreting the results and communicating the insights. Other responsibilities also include:
  • Regular and accurate reporting of site activity
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand priorities and support on answering ad-hoc queries
  • Providing actionable insight on customer behaviour
  • Full ownership of setting up, reporting and evaluation of marketing performance, traffic analysis, conversion analysis, customer behaviour analysis and competitor analysis
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to the business when required, working with the relevant business stakeholders to understand the challenge and ensure insight is delivered in the best possible way
  • Supporting on key pro-active initiatives such as forecasting customer demand and intent modelling to name a few
  • Supporting the wider Marketing team in developing and delivering the marketing plans through insights across all digital channels
  • Working with the relevant teams (CRO and UX amongst others) to improve the customer experience with the intention of improving goal conversion

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to learn and develop. Other skills/experience required are:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to spot trends and attention to detail
  • Technical understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and SQL
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager (desirable)
  • Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
  • Strong Maths skills

Although this role is office based, we are currently operating a hybrid-working system due to Covid-19, where office-based employees are required to work from home Monday, Thursday and Friday, and work in the office Tuesday and Wednesday.
