We are looking for HR Advisors to join us on a permanent basis here at & Jet2Holidays.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing generalist HR advice, support & guidance to some of our senior stakeholders within high profile areas of the business. You will be given the autonomy to make real-life changes & improvements to your business area whilst working closely with the HR Business Partner & wider HR team.

The role is a great opportunity to gain exposure to some of our high-profile people within our business who will look to you as a centre of excellence for all HR related matters & you will either be dealing with high-volume general queries or more complex queries on a smaller scale.

What will you do in the role?

You will act as the first point of contact for General HR queries, providing accurate and timely advice on a high-volume basis. Key responsibilities include:
  • Identifying where HR issues/queries need to be escalated and referring them to the appropriate level of HR management to ensure relevant action is taken
  • Inputting and maintaining ER Case Management information and reporting, ensuring accurate and up to date recording on HR Pro
  • Monitoring, analysing & reporting on key HR Data/KPI’s such as turnover of staff, sickness absence etc. to identify key data trends and working with the HR Business Partner to identify and address any underlying issues
  • Developing and updating internal HR guidance/procedures on key HR processes as and when required to ensure consistency and efficiency of service within the HR team
  • Assisting the HR Business Partners/Training Manager in training and coaching managers on key policies and procedures, ensuring they have the right skills to effectively manage their team
We are looking for a confident self-starter who has a wealth of knowledge & experience when it comes to HR matters. You must have the ability to challenge & influence where needed & preferably have worked across multiple sites within a fast-paced organisation like ourselves.

You must be able to prioritise your own workload & have a high degree of resilience with the ability to work under pressure.

Other key skills/experience we’re looking for:
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
  • Previous experience within in an airline business would be beneficial

Although this role is office based, we are currently operating a hybrid-working system, due to Covid-19, where office-based employees are required to work from home Monday, Thursday and Friday, and work in the office Tuesday and Wednesday. Please also note this role will be based at Leeds Bradford Airport offices.

Travel will also be required on an ad-hoc basis to our other bases and flexibility with this is required from the successful candidate.
