Avionics Technical Service Engineer, based at Leeds Bradford Airport. After a period of training, the successful candidate will be working 4 days on, 4 days off in 12-hour shifts on-site.

Reporting to the Avionics Technical Services Manager, the Avionics Technical Services Engineer will Take Responsibility for managing the implementation of all required avionics equipment enhancements to the fleet.

What will you do in the role?
As the Avionics Technical Services Engineer you will ensure continued airworthiness and technical performance through evaluation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Engineering Modification Requests and Proposals. You will be responsible for ensuring that all actions are carried out to an approved standard. You will also:
  • Manage entry into service aircraft to ensure they meet Avionic requirements to schedule
  • Liaise with all engineering teams
  • Act as a focal between and manufacturers, vendors and regulatory bodies.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
Our Avionics Technical Services Engineer will hold an EASA Part 66 B2 License or equivalent Aircraft Engineering degree. You will also:
  • Ideally have experience of EASA Part M or CAA Part CAMO and aircraft types
  • Be able to communicate clearly and work methodically under pressure to regular deadlines
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have the ability to work co-operatively and flexibly, whilst maintaining strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
