Compliance and Assurance Surveyor - Operations

We’re looking to hire a Compliance & Assurance Surveyor (Operations) to join our Operations Safety, Compliance Team.

Our Compliance & Assurance Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring that Jet2.com remains compliant with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulatory requirements across all our operational approvals. This position performs assurance-based audit activities that contribute towards safety, performance and continuous improvements within Jet2.com Operational Teams, as well as oversight third party contracted organisations and our ACMI leases.
*This role requires travel across the Jet2.com stations in the UK and overseas, sometimes at short notice in order to complete all required audits.*

What you’ll be doing:

• Conducting audits at Jet2.com operational locations across the UK and Europe, Head Office, and Training Centre locations, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards.
• Performing oversight audits of third-party contracted service providers and airline partners, contributing to the continued maintenance and compliance of Jet2.com’s AOC, ATO, and FSTD approvals.
• Reviewing and developing team processes and procedures, supporting the maintenance of the Compliance & Assurance Manual, associated company procedures, and Jet2.com’s Safety System ‘SafetyHub’.
• Producing audit reports and recommendations, while assisting with compliance and assurance enquiries from across the business to drive continuous improvement

What you’ll have:

• The successful candidate will ideally have sound knowledge of UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Regulations and an understanding of EASA regulations, including IATA Industry Best Practice (AHM & IGOM). Recent airline experience is also desirable
• Have experience or an understanding of Compliance Monitoring and the undertaking of audits
• Have an understanding of Airline Safety Management Systems
• Be extremely organised, flexible and have outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
