Join our Jet2holidays team as a Destination Operations Manager!
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, customer focused people Manager with a passion for travel to join us on a permanent contract basis, overseeing our Resort and Airports team (Team Leaders and Resort and Airport Representatives) and Jet2holidays operation in and around our resorts including Halkidiki and Skiathos.
What will you do in the role?
As a Destination Operations Manager you’ll manage Jet2holidays operations at your destinations, overseeing team performance, ensure service standards, managing budgets, and collaborating with local agents and UK stakeholders.
You will demonstrate effective leadership and will take responsibility for managing all operational disruption, including in-destination crisis situations, flight programme delays and customer escalations.
As you will have responsibility for multiple resorts, travel to your destinations and other locations, including out Head Office in the UK, is an essential part of this role.
Other key responsibilities will include meeting KPIs and driving our brand values in your team to ensure we deliver our famous customer service to our Jet2holidays customers!
What will I need?
We are seeking a strong people manager who can display our values and lead by example. The successful candidate will have -
- Senior management experience (tour operator or related industry preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder and leadership skills.
- Proven experience in team development & performance management, ideally managing remote teams.
- The ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to interpret data and MI.
- The ability to make considered decisions in tight timeframes.
- Effective communication skills, ideally with Greek language skills.
- Full right to work documentation required for Greece.
- A full and valid driving licence and have your own car.
- You will be based in Halkidiki and must have the flexibility to travel to other destinations and to other locations.
