Who are you and what is your role at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays?
Sean Ablett, Contact Centre Director

What’s been the thing you’re most proud of this year?
The way my team have consistently put the customer first throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, while at the same time looking after each other. The rewards, from the amazing customer feedback to the awards we have won, have been a fitting tribute to the extraordinary work they have all done and continue to do.

After a busy day how do you switch off?
On a work night, I might immerse myself in a good drama series on Netflix, or an old British film with a good bottle of Australian Shiraz. If I have a bit more time I’ll dig into my vinyl collection and play some records (usually very loudly, but too often my wife will tell me to put my headphones on!). Every day, I will go out walking, whatever the weather – accompanied by my ridiculously large collection of Spotify playlists – I can be gone for hours. I can also recommend the Peloton bike – it has certainly helped me take my frustrations out on the day during the last few months.

Any Tips on how our colleagues can unwind after work?
Find something completely different to immerse yourself in, something completely disconnected from work, and something that makes you look away from your phone or laptop.

What are you plans for Christmas?
We will have a simple small family Christmas this year!

Of course it is. How is that even a debate?!
