Exactly 18 years ago today, the first ever Jet2.com flight took happy customers from Leeds Bradford Airport to Amsterdam.

Back in 2003, we had two aircraft serving nine destinations. Since then we have grown to become the UK’s third largest airline, flying to a range of fantastic sunshine and leisure city destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean and Canary Islands.

With a network of ten bases across the UK, including our newest base Bristol Airport, customers are spoiled for choice when it comes to flying with us, whether topping up their tans, hitting the ski slopes or discovering a new city.

The popularity of our friendly low fares alongside our famous VIP customer service, generous 22kg baggage allowance and two free pieces of hand luggage up to 10kg, has enabled us to enjoy fantastic growth and success.

When it comes to customer experience and satisfaction, we continue to be repeatedly recognised with a host of accolades and awards too. This includes Which? ‘Recommended Provider’ status, Best Short-Haul Airline at the Telegraph Travel Awards 2019, and five awards at the 2020 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards for Airlines (Best Airline – UK, Best Airline – Europe, Best Low-Cost Airline – Europe, Best Economy Class – Europe and Top 10 Airlines in the World).
